Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the IEA Energy Storage Technological Collaboration Program, IEA ESTCP, it is our great pleasure to invite you to join the Enerstock 2024 conference. It will provide a place for scientists and researchers, engineers and representatives from industry and business to present and discuss their latest findings, developments and perspectives.

One of the major challenges of this conference will be to discuss innovative and disruptive ideas that will help to decarbonize the global economy. Therefore, Enerstock 2024 will include invited speeches, keynotes, plenary sessions, oral and poster presentations on several topics involving energy storage:

• Thermal energy storage
• Electrical energy storage
• Chemical energy storage
• Power-to-X technologies
• Energy storage in energy systems
• Materials and components
• Technology improvements

Enerstock 2024 will be organized by the Department of Civil Engineering and Urban Planning of INSA Lyon, France, 5−7 June 2024. INSA Lyon hosts 23 research laboratories, more than 600 researchers and teacher-researchers, 650 PhD students, and over 1,000 industrial contracts with the socio-economic world. INSA Lyon accounts for more than 5,400 students (4,500 engineering students) with 1,400 graduated students each year.
